KIRKUS REVIEW

A consideration of the still prevalent belief in sea monsters leads to the discussion of the possibility of their existence. Tales of strange things seen and later validated are based on the discoveries of the Komodo lizards and the okapi and other remote creatures. Interesting in its aquatic facts about ""inner space"" and in its assemblage of reports of great unknowns, this offers good natural history supplementary reading.
