SOUTH WEST AFRICA: The Last Pioneer Country

Author Molnar quickly drops his travelogue guise (Africa: A Political Travellogue) for the South African side of the case against her administration of neighboring South West Africa now before the World Court at the Hague. By his witness of clean work camps and uncomplaining blacks--although the closest he came to hearing a black man speak was through a transcript of a Chief's Council--he seeks to help the argument for Pretorian paternalism. With independence, as plaintiffs Liberia and Ethiopia would have it, would come a majority vote for the majority blacks and in that democratic plan Molnar sees, and in the United Nations also, the lurking hand of International Suffrage. After suffrage comes economic suffering for the minority of white settlers, mostly owing allegiance to Verwoerd's Nationalist Party. The name of the game is White Supremacy.
