A-18

North Vietnam has been appropriated entirely by the Chinese, and Washington, with some foggy bottom thinking, decides that the only solution is to kidnap the most important officials of the usurping Chinese government. A-18 is the code designation of the team of twelve selected and by means of treason, illegality and violence, the world is saved for democracy. Despite the OffensiVeness of the philosophy implicit here, the story moves along; the characters present no problem to Central Casting; but the intricacy of the kidnap plot and the suspense is very good. A-18, A-OK of its kind.
