NO ZOO WITHOUT MUMBA

The elephants, chimps and sea lions go out on strike and refuse to perform their tricks when Mr. Plappinger decides to expand the little zoo by selling Mumba in exchange for a ticket to Africa. No fringe benefit can arouse the dejected animals. Only the return of Mumba sets things right and brings Mr. Plappinger to the conclusion that a happy little zoo is better than a sad large one. Two color illustrations by Lilo Fromm- not seen in their entirety- promise to make this an attractive book.
