UNBECOMING HABITS

A pleasantly peccant diversion which takes place in an Anglican Friary where Brother Luke is found ""extremely dead"" in a potato patch, where another about to inform shares the same fate, and where Simon Bognor investigates the not too brotherly although sometimes amorous activities among these monks who tipple, smoke Perfectos Finos, and even smuggle secrets to the other side in the honey they make. . . Retreat there -- it's not too quiet but amusing, and fastidiously written for a welcome change.
