DEATH IN THE DOLL'S HOUSE

This is a good one -- original, with a clever -- but credible -- psychological twist, a good novel as well as a good mystery. Dr. Black Farragon is the interfering amateur detective who gums up the professionals in his determination to prove his old friend's innocence of the murder of his wife, and to save the sanity of a child. There's a bit of romance in the hospital background.
