Death stalks the steps of successive blood donors, possessing the rare B type which is needed by a nephew of the grand senor of a Texas town. An idealistic local sheriff and his deputy get on the job, and find politics, inheritance rights and a mysterious doctor back of the deaths. Somewhat involved, but the threads become untangled at the end.
