FINLAND Land of Heroes

A pleasing, personal preview of Finland by an American born of Finnish parents. Historical background nicely woven with legends, temperament of the people, and a leisurely sketch of the towns, cities and countryside, through which the author travels. Finland is in the limelight -but how many are willing to sit down to a book which may already be tragically dated. I could wish there were more of the economic factors, the elements in the relations with Russia that are involved.
