KIRKUS REVIEW

Sure-fire for the spring baseball trade is this big book of facts and figures, anecdotes, pictures of the great, baseball oddities, and an attractive format. This might well supply the demand for a good juvenile version for this age group of the Who's Who and record books sold in the ball parks. Although the format is honestly youthful, no youthful fan would scorn the full page photographs of the stars, page after page of records, and even a section of baseball humor. A handsome book bound in cloth and with a liberal number of sketches by Sydney Weiss, the ""big"" look of the book may offset the disadvantage of a higher price. Wide age range.
