Based on a questionnaire sent to fifty pro golfers (included in the appendix) this indicates the six plus factors for the gents in plus fours (confidence, courage, etc.) as well as negatives--don't get nervous or--of course--teed off. Next considered are skills, and then more success factors (works back over the first two chapters), practice habits, mental tricks, superstitions, crutches (19 of the 50 take tranquilizers). Essentially this is applied positive thinking (Tony Lema's performance a primary case) and the sifted questionnaire pointers make it a new approach shot to the same old game.
