KIRKUS REVIEW

The two that it takes to tangle on the trail west, when Peter Lofting, former Texas Ranger, shadows Thad Green, an old enemy, who is to marry Janey whom Peter also loves. Green's disappearance- or is it murder- earns the suspicion of the outfit- as well as Janey's, but he is able to establish that Green is both a thief and a killer as well as his own innocence in a last encounter. Reminiscent.
