A collection of Indian songs, stories, legends and myths made by the Ethnoloist of the National Museum of Canada, and illustrated by the head of the department of design of the Vancouver School of Art, are assured of authenticity. The imagination and tradition of various tribes (Rocky Mountain, Blackfeet, Iroquois, etc.) are reflected as well as the dignity and simplicity of an unappreciated race. A book for students, and for reference purposes, primarily; it lacks the flavor necessary for general interest.
