LITTLE HIPPO AND HIS RED BICYCLE

A happy story, gaily illustrated in black and white and color, of a little brother hippo and his big brother. Simple, satisfying story of the red bicycle that big brother owned and little brother wanted -- and of how he tried to make a wooden one for himself and took so long over it that big brother outgrew the red bicycle and little brother's dream became reality. Almost none of the personalizing of animals -- and the extent to which it is done is innocuous.
