SIXTY BELOW

Outdoor adventures in North West Canada which besides being autobiographical have a full quota of wilderness lore. For the author, a depression rolling stone, made up his mind to head for the open spaces, and learned by rough experiences how to live in northern lands. From seeking gold, he turned to trapping and here, his tales of husky dogs, caribou, wolves, beaver, bear, etc., begin, and add more interest to the story of far north living. There are lots of tall yarns, too, from old timers, stories too of trapline excitements, hunting and fishing and the whole is a good bet for fresh air enthusiasts.
