ANIMAL BABIES

By appealing to the young child's interest in other young creatures, the author teaches a lesson in the care and rearing of many animals. The names for animal young are given; their early behavior, the role the parents play in feeding and teaching them, are simply stated. And the author's bold color pictures further illustrate the lesson of this book. A good introduction to nature study, children will learn easily and with pleasure from this book.
