CHARLIE THE HORSE

Charlie the horse had many friends, and he enjoyed his milk route with sugar and carrots from admirers on the way. But Charlie dreamed of the life of a race-horse where all was sweet clover and play. Charlie wanders into the racing game and wins an important race but he is not happy he misses his friends, his milk route and his sugar and carrots. All ends happily with Charlie's return to his real vocation. A simple, happy story but not as ingenious as Sutie the Cat.
