KIRKUS REVIEW

This is a life of Christ by Japan's outstanding Christian, a poet and novelist who may be remembered for him A Grain of Wheat. It is a lovely thing -- written with the delicacy, the perception of the Orient. It is a convert's Ecc Homo and one does Behold The Christ as one moves through this story life of our Lord. Kagawa has a good following but you can enlarge the market with a bit of effort for this is not primarily a book on missions as so many of his early works have been.
