KIRKUS REVIEW

Love, with a purpose, in this story of lovely Alison Joyce who escapes from her social background to study chemistry, being by nature serious and intellectual. She meets John Herbert, a minister, but feels that she cannot reconcile science and religion and that therefore he is not for her. She goes abroad for further study; she finds prayer through a test tube -- and the field is open to John. Muggy.
