Ever since Van de Velde, we've been really, secretly, looking for a new approach. To sex books. But we're not sure Dr. Eichenlaub is our man, even though he has lots of ""impish impulses"" he likes to convert into playful ""love nips."" But somehow we experienced a shudder instead of a frisson when we came to the directive--""to the wife her husband's hands become welcome wanderers."" Fruity and ""fruitful"" verbiage aside, the doctor has all kinds of liberating instruction to promote some responses, prevent others, on the connubial bed or ""playground""--on birth control--and on the many ways in which you can tune up and trigger off your sexual synapses. (There are no perversions.) And, on special ""celebrant occasions"" you may want ""to have some crushed ice on hand and not for champagne."" Whatever did happen to Fatty Arbuckle?
