KIRKUS REVIEW

An English story about how Peter and his father, the Painter, discovered a battered but workable 1902 model car which they christened the Wanderlust, and how it led them into a strange mystery. Peter was mostly responsible for leading the famous American collector of old cars to the person who had been cheating him and had been trying to steal the Wanderlust. An entertaining if slightly improbable story, and the trials of the Wanderlust in two English races will fascinate boys.
