KIRKUS REVIEW

Henrietta has possibilities as an easy reader. She has possibilities as a picture book, too. Unfortunately, this cat's book doesn't seem to be quite one or the other, because she has no story, really. It is a narrated description of the householder's universal experience with kittens. Henrietta hides under things, Jumps at things, runs through paint and has a tendency to escape when the door opens. That's all there is to the text.
