KIRKUS REVIEW

There's potentially promising action here as a young, distraught Paula attempts to trace her vanished husband through a drab western town and outskirts, but the author has managed to expose most of the mystery early. Husband Wayne is a petty thief who blunders into murder, but his long lost twin brother, upright Glen, investigates with Paula old scandals, homicides (past and planned) and blackmail until he finds Wayne, who conveniently dies, leaving Paula with the xerox copy. Double dullsville.
