KIRKUS REVIEW

A pleasant, likable, somewhat pre-war story of those taking the cure at Silberhof, in Southern Germany, and the interrelation of their lives while there with some lasting effects. There's the romance of very young Toni and Alister against the pattern of the rÉgime and personnel of the health center, the patients, and various and sundry lives, problems, and troubles. Despite her youth, and other affiliations, Alister realizes he loves Toni and the romance comes off opportunely. A nice story, successfully framed against the medical and emotional disturbances of the health center. For superior rentals -- occasional sales.
