DOG NELSON, A.B.

Not an educated dog but an able-bodied seaman--and his story is told by a vice-admiral who claims that the incidents, a bit dressed up, actually happened, and that Nelson was a real dog. Adventures in port and on shipboard of two pups adopted by the captain and the first mate, rivalry for honors, determination on the part of Nelson to get his sea legs and do his part. A bit amateurish but a friendly little story.
