GLENCANNON MEETS TUGBOAT ANNIE

By

Publisher: Harper

The familiar Caledonian hiccup paired off with the well-known American burp -- this, in other verbs, accomplishes ""the happy days are here some more"" with two hitherto immovable forces. For Glencannon's home from home, S. S. Inchcliffe Castle, in need of a tow, is picked up by the shifty Bullwinkle instead of Annie, who has been assigned to his ship, and when he learns of the swindle afoot, Glencannon, with a whoosh, joins Annie in foiling the villain. That this includes a nephew who wrestles, a nylon hawser, dummy (and real) mines, besides the stealing of his ship, is of little import when it comes to such a collaboration of such a twain. Old friends and favorites in happy salubrity.
