I KNEW 3,000 LUNATICS

Inside picture of six years' experience in the capacity of doctor in a large insane asylum. Anecdotal, human interest stuff, sometimes horrible, often amusing in a macabre way, but always treated with understanding and sympathy. Vivid presentation of the daily life, the social aspects, the professional side, even to the point of indicating symptoms so that the layman will feel an intelligent familiarity with the distinctive features of different forms of insanity. Interesting reading, for anyone concerned in mental hygiene.
