KIRKUS REVIEW

Perennials, at once the joy and sorrow of every gardener's life, always present problems and each new book is eagerly gobbled up. The novice will find this tremendously comprehensive, even perhaps a little confusing where so many varieties are mentioned, but it offers him a wide choice and if he picks carefully he will have a good start on a border that will handsomely repay him. While much of this information has been given before and really far too much attempted in so few pages there is still a definite vigor and value to many of the suggestions. Sell to your customers for Annuals by the same author and to all the other garden fans because no gardener is long without a perennial border.
