LITTLE COUNTRY SCHOOLHOUSE

What happens when the little country schoolhouse becomes too small to hold all the children in the town? Well, all the parents get together and they build a bigger school. But what happens when the bigger school becomes too small? Well, in this particular town, some of the little children and one teacher get together with paints and brushes and brooms and restore the little country schoolhouse so that it is the prettiest little school house ever, and this is where the extra children; hold their classes. Not a very weighty plot, even for the youngest reader, but redeemed to some extent by the little ""what-not"" children who merrily abound in the author's illustrations.
