KIRKUS REVIEW

Three murders on an Army post near Chicago, with Adam Drew and Kay Loring again sleuthing for the criminal, and continuing their romance. Series of holdups, with stripping of victim, strange dead man, kidnap ransom notes, murder of a trouble-making girl and her Russian friend, and an attack on Kay proceed in brisk fashion, clearing Kay's favorite suspect and cleaning up a federal investigation for kidnapping. Good fun, from the outside looking in.
