KIRKUS REVIEW

Unsavory set-up of a scientist who has adopted seven children for experimental purposes, and whose contemplated adoption of an eighth at high cost, leads to his death. Eleanora Burke, amazonian lady copper, has plenty to choose from in the group of foster children who include a Chinese girl, a delinquent, a moron, etc. but does not stall a second murder. Unpleasant.
