KIRKUS REVIEW

Family fracas, when young Jacklin, who, after the death of her cousin, makes life difficult for the police in an attempt to clear her cousin, Ward, whom she loves. An eccentric household, all leeching off wealthy Grandfather Everard, the scene for three deaths. Jacklin's hysterical imagination does much to sheer the reader off a two-tack solution. Good enough.
