THE NEGRO IN VIRGINIA

This is more than the routine guidebook series -- in fact quite outside that field. It is in brief a profile of the Negro, for though the emphasis is on the Virginia Negro, and that state is used as a source of information, the outline of facts, the anecdotal material, the general picture gives a fair presentation of the Southern Negro from 1619 to the present day. Should be of interest to all markets where books on the subject are circulated. A very human picture, finely presented.
