KIRKUS REVIEW

Another Beginning To Read Book which I find more satisfactory in every way than Monkeys Are Funny That Way. It is a more manageable size for second graders to handle. It is very definitely a book for little girls, and strangely enough there is a distinct lack of books at this age level about little girls (and a plethora of books about little animals). The mixed up feelings attendant on moving are recognizable- and the lost doll incident will be familiar. Enchanting wash drawings by Lilian Obligado.
