MOUNTAINS IN FLOWER

The appeal of this book will be largely on the ground of its sheer beauty as a piece of fine book-making and superb photography. There may be some constructive value for rock gardeners, but that is secondary to the enjoyment of the pictures (although they are not in color they have almost the quality of color to the imagination). The text is largely descriptive, poetically so, and conveys something of the author and photographer's experiences in securing the subjects for the book.
