KIRKUS REVIEW

From the isopod of the pond, through goldfish, chickens, birds, insects, mammals to man. Various experiments performed and conclusions drawn, in an effort to find social parallels between the social life of creatures and of man. Inconclusive. Interesting to students experimenting in the field, but not interesting to average layman, in spite of isolated ""curious facts"" of the animal world.
