THE SECRET OF RADIANT LIFE

Dr. Sangster, longtime minister of Westminster Central Hall, London, says in his preface that the book was written for ""people outside the church who find life disappointing but are willing to read a book which is frankly religious, and those inside the church who are willing to admit that religion has never come alive for them and loyalty more than conviction keeps them linked with the church at all"". The reason for this so common condition, says the author, is that people do not have a vital relationship with God, from which alone can come the radiance and peace and power so many miss. The only way to achieve a life of such a character is to study Christ's life to discover how it is possible for the life of God to dwell in the soul of man. Dr. Sangster also provides spiritual exercies to guide the reader towards that right relationship with God and consequently toward the outer glow of inner peace. There is a clarity and radiance in the writing that will commend the book both to the minds and hearts of many readers.
