KIRKUS REVIEW

Fast vernacular and a plot with plenty of new turns, all done with speed and savvy, make this a first rate Western. How Peter Stirling, tenderfoot Easterner, hires out on pretty Gall Gordon's Arrowhead ranch, finds a body in the bunkhouse, an antagonistic overseer, and a bunch of killers determined to run him out of town, for no apparent reason. But the reason turns up, by way of a land grab, and Stirling foils it, and kills off the killers.
