THE REBEL OF PAULING

Ren Wilcox is the reprobate in this case -- a boy who thought the world was down on him. Expelled from high school, he spends his junior year at Pauling and completes the transition from the worst ""heel"" to the appointed leader of the sixth form -- highest student office. With Nosey Wardell and Friar Jones, prankster extraordinary, Ren raises some pretty ingenious hell. In athletics he excells, and boys will enjoy the detailed accounts of football, basketball, and baseball games. The hackneyed plot will undoubtedly be as popular as ever with this age group.
