SALMON FISHING

Mr. Menzies should be an excellent inspector of Salmon Fisheries if he does half as thorough a job as he has made of this book. An A. H. E. Wood, Taverner or Stoddart might find something omitted but I cannot. From the selection of rods, lines, and casts, hooks and flies, greased line and Grilse Fishing he leads the reader step by step through eighteen chapters (253 pages) to the final chapter on the Life of Salmon.
