THE BIRD BOOK

I have no criticism of the way the material is handled in these good little reference books, but once again I question the selection of material included. Here, for example, about half the birds are birds most children would never see except, perhaps, in a fairly well-stocked bird house in a zoo. No value as a field guide, or any sort of practical ""domestic"" application. Photographs and concise informational text.
