Here's How to Succeed in Business by Really Trying and doing nothing else. Johnson, a pioneer in prefabricated housing, a co-founder of Holiday Inns, Inc. and an officer in more than 70 corporations, started wheeling at the age of nine and at 73 he reads two books simultaneously (he listens to one while looking at the other). He does it all -- he claims-- for ""self expression"" and in order to ""enjoy life"": God is a business partner who helps him make his profits.(A ""lemon"" did not become ""lemonade"" when Johnson didn't ""pray enough."") A Baptist-Belt Horatio Alger, he cites all the uplifting maxims (the Golden Rule, a ""positive attitude,"" free enterprise, America-as-opportunity) -- ""truths that never change."" However, tiffs showman's at his liveliest when getting down to business.
