The famous modern classic, a novel by Felix Salten, has been adopted by young people as their own. Now, in this simplified and Disneyfied version, even little children can enjoy the story, if it is read aloud to them. Disney has handled the material exceptionally well, with close enough adherence to the original to sustain its charm, and yet with omission of the philosophical overtones which make it difficult for little children. This makes it more definitely an animal story, as he recounts the adventures of Bambi and his friends.
