THE UGLY DUCKLING

It takes Walt Disney to make Hans Andersen his own, and his version of The Ugly Duckling bears small resemblance to the one we were brought up on. But it is his version that goes over, on the screen, and here it is, beautifully reproduced, in a charming picture book. A better item for stores than for libraries.
