KIRKUS REVIEW

It was only a matter of time, and here it is, with the crushing Disney stamp. The text, as adapted from the movie, which is adapted from Carroll, is inevitably meaningless, and the brief two lines to a page intensify the nightmare quality of the pictures. The childhood earnestness of Alice has been removed, as well as the human attributes of the creatures she meets. What remains is a wild ride through a pin ball arcade. But as always, depend upon this for merchandise.
