KIRKUS REVIEW

Father Richard Madden, O.C.D., spends most of his time giving retreats for adolescents. He knows how they act and how they talk, and in A Bay And His Teens he writes for them in their own language. It's one book from which boys will have no trouble getting the message. In provocative sections entitled ""You and Your Cod"", ""You and Your Neighbor"", and ""You and Your Girl"", Father Madden explores the subjects in which boys are most interested. He paints a pretty grim picture of where immorality, swearing, drinking, narcotics and defiance of authority can finally lead. Father Madden's subject matter may be deadly serious, but fortunately his treatment of it is light.
