STORM WARNING: The Story of Hurricanes and Tornadoes

Beginning with his own unspectacular experiences in three hurricanes (mostly concerned with securing his boat), Buehr moves on to a brief explanation of how (and when and where) the different windstorms form and ends with a survey of progress to date in forecasting hurricanes, cyclones and tornadoes. Buehr's drawings are Jess impressive than the photos of destruction in Robert Irving's Hurricanes and Twisters (1955), to which he adds nothing but updating.
