Dr. Cavert first calls atention to the crisis of our times, then to the necessity for the kind of faith that is equal to the crisis, and then to the tremendous resources that are available to the Christian in the Word of God, in the great proclamations of the Faith and in the Holy Fellowship. Finally he devotes a large segment of his work to the relation between these basic beliefs and insights, and the ordinary problems of day to day living. His ability to understand the curious but often repeated problems of the ordinary man make his work unusually helpful.
