KIRKUS REVIEW

Good factual material woven into a rather slim story -- from the plot angle -- of a lion. From babyhood up, in the jungles of Africa. One feels that the author really knows his jungle, and that the picture of the long process of training a lion cub by his parents, is based on knowledge.
