IT'S FUN TO MAKE THINGS

Directors of a New York day camp give designs and directions for making and/or decorating place-mats, metal silhouette plaques, wooden bowls and book-ends, gourd ropes, simplest pottery, leather articles, etc., all from very inexpensive material, lots of it from the five-and-ten. In interest, simplicity and clarity, a good book for beginners in handicraft, though the artistic level of the designs shown is in general not so high as one could wish.
