The author, formerly general secretary of the International Student Service at Geneva, now a professor at Smith here surveys education between ways throughout the world and outlines what will have to be done after the war. In France, England and the U.S.A. there has been a step towards democratization of education; in Germany, totalitarianism has brought only anti-intellectual, irrational, destructive forces into play; in Russia they are succeeding in correlating education and life.
